You can control Rec and Zoom function of your Sony Camcorders with use 2 emtpy channels. If you want to use only one function can control with 1 channel. This shutter has gyro style cable. Black plug for REC Start-Stop function and red plug for ZOOM In-Out function. You dont need any cable or wire connection between your camera. You need only this shutter and 2 empty channel for professional videos.
You need 2 position switch for REC Start-Stop and 3 position switch or stick for ZOOM In-Out.
